Building the identity layer of Web3

One ecosystem, one login

QIE Blockchain is a Layer 1 network built for speed, scalability and security, and it is the infrastructure underneath an ecosystem of identity-first products. Most people never touch the chain directly. They use QIE Wallet, get verified with QIE Pass, and own their name with QIE IDs. The chain is what makes all of it work.

What we are building

Four things the network is built around: throughput that holds up under real use, identity as a native primitive, tooling developers already know, and a supply that tightens as the chain gets used.

A Layer 1 built for throughput

QIE processes 25,000+ transactions per second with near-instant finality and block times under two seconds, so applications with real user volume are not competing for space in a block.

Identity as a first-class primitive

QIE IDs act as universal payment identifiers across crypto ecosystems. Instead of long wallet addresses, users pay and receive with names like alice.qie, and those IDs can carry verified credentials so people are not repeating the same sign-up at every exchange and dApp.

An application layer for developers

QIE supports smart contracts and decentralised applications, backed by API documentation, RPC support, guides and tutorials, plus a public testnet and faucet for building before you ship.

Economics that tighten supply

A hard cap of 150 million tokens, with 80% of the gas fee on every transaction burned. As network usage grows, circulating supply falls.

The positioning only holds up if the chain underneath it does. These are the numbers the network runs on today.

How the

Network runs

QIE is secured and steered by the people who hold and stake the token. Validators produce the blocks, holders vote on the rules, and the fee model works against inflation of the supply.

Delegated Proof of Stake

QIE moved from Proof of Work to Delegated Proof of Stake to cut energy consumption and computational overhead while keeping throughput high. Anyone who meets the minimum staking requirement can run a validator node, and setup guides and SDKs are published for it.

Rewards and slashing

Validators earn 0.5 QIE for every block they validate and are paid out every 24 hours rather than per block. Acting maliciously costs them staked tokens. Reward plus penalty is what keeps the security model honest.

On-chain governance

Token holders propose and vote on protocol upgrades, fee structures and new integrations directly on chain, so the direction of the network is set by the people using it.

A deflationary fee model

Every transaction burns 80% of its gas fee against a hard cap of 150 million tokens. More usage means more burned, and a circulating supply that shrinks as the network grows.
